Giveaway rules

How it works

Registering enters you into periodic prize draws held throughout Saturday, August 1, 2026 and Sunday, August 2, 2026, and into the grand-prize car draw on Sunday. Entry is free — no purchase necessary. One entry per person.

Prizes & winners

Vendor prizes are drawn at random through the day and announced by name on the festival screen; winners are also notified by email. One prize per person— once you’ve won, you’re not in later prize draws. Prizes are limited by vendor stock and awarded while supplies last. You must be present at the festival to claim a prize.

To claim, find your code at “Find my prize” (enter the phone number you registered with) and show it to the vendor.

The grand-prize car

Everyone who enters on either day is in the car draw, held live on stage on Sunday. The winner must be present to claim; if a drawn winner is not present, another is drawn. A skill-testing question is not required (organizer decision). Eligibility details still to be confirmed: minimum age (default 19+) BC residency who pays taxes / licensing on the vehicle.

Event photography

By entering, attendees consent to festival event photography and video, which may be used in event coverage and promotion.

The grand-prize car is provided by Trust Auto Sales. The giveaway is run by Karakata Society in collaboration with Vansuya, as part of Naija Food Festival, BC.
